Description
Open water replaces solid ground from the moment you step on board.
On STS Leeuwin II, you’re not a passenger, you’re crew. From day one, you’ll be part of a watch, working together to sail the ship by day and by night. You’ll haul lines, climb rigging, steer at the helm, stand night watch, and learn what it takes to keep a tall ship moving safely through open seas.
Life on board is shared and structured. Everyone pulls their weight, from sailing duties to galley work and daily ship routines. Between tasks, there’s time for music, laughter, and the unique bonds that form when you’re living and working in close quarters.
Set Sail for the Sunset suits Rovers Scouts ready to commit fully, challenge themselves, and experience teamwork in its purest form.
