Offsite Program

Gold Offsite activities

Gold activities use 6 of your 9 Offsite Program points.

Gold activities take up a larger share of your points, leaving 3 points available for another selection. That makes them a natural fit alongside a Bronze activity if you want to use all 9 points.

Like every other ranking, Gold isn’t a measure of how good or challenging an activity is. It’s simply part of the system that helps balance the Offsite Program and gives everyone a fair chance at accessing the activities they’re most interested in.

Mandurah Giants and Dolphin Cruise

Head out onto Mandurah’s waterways for a cruise that combines public art, local wildlife, and the Peel-Harvey Estuary.

You’ll travel through the waterways in search of views of the Giants of Mandurah, including Thomas Dambo’s giant sculptures, while keeping an eye out for Mandurah’s resident dolphins and other wildlife along the way.

You’ll also get to experience the wetlands and waterways that make this part of WA so distinctive.

It’s part cruise, part giant hunt, and part wildlife spotting.

EXTRA INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ACTIVITY:

You’ll need to be able to move around the vessel independently and safely. This includes boarding the boat, managing small steps and walkways, using a ladder-style staircase with handrails to reach the upper deck, and remaining steady while the vessel is moving on the water.

Yanchep National Park and High Ropes

Take your adventure into the treetops at Yanchep.

You’ll work your way through elevated obstacles, bridges, platforms, and ziplines while clipped into the high-ropes course, testing your balance, coordination, and willingness to keep moving when the next platform looks a little further away than expected.

You’ll also get time to experience Yanchep National Park itself, with bushland, wetlands, walking trails, caves, wildlife, and plenty of natural scenery around you.

It’s a day that mixes a solid hit of adventure with a chance to explore one of WA’s best-known national parks.

Adventure World

Spend the day making the most of Perth’s theme park and water park, with rollercoasters, thrill rides, waterslides, pools, and plenty more to choose from.

You can chase the biggest rides, spend your time around the water attractions, or move between the two with your mates. How you spend the day is largely up to you, so whether you’re here for the adrenaline or just keen for a day at the park, there’s plenty to explore.

Individual rides and attractions have their own height, clothing, medical, and safety requirements, so not every attraction will necessarily be suitable for everyone.

Wasp Paintball Experience

Pick your team, gear up, and head onto the field for a series of paintball games across purpose-built and themed battlefields.

You’ll work with your team, make a plan, use the terrain to your advantage, and probably discover fairly quickly which of your mates has been hiding a suspicious amount of tactical knowledge.

Whether your strategy is carefully coordinated or disappears completely as soon as the first paintball flies, there’s plenty of room for teamwork, competition, and some classic Rover rivalry.
