Climb high above the Swan River, take in the skyline and then — because apparently walking back down isn't exciting enough — launch yourself down the zipline. Views on the way up. Spend the morning lending a hand with a couple of hours of volunteering, then you're free to make the most of the island. Hire a bike, find a secluded beach, go snorkelling, grab some lunch or hunt down that perfect quokka selfie. Do a little good, then spend the rest of the day living your best island life.

Visit wineries, sample local produce and discover why this little corner of Perth has become a foodie favourite. No need to know your Shiraz from your Sauvignon Blanc — just come hungry and ready to taste your way around the Valley.

Why choose between a night in the city and a night by the river when you can have both? Set up camp at Pelican Point Sea Scout Group, then head into Perth to explore the city, grab dinner, hit the nightlife or simply see where the evening takes you.
